Glendora, CA--September 9, 1998--Mackenzie Laboratories, Inc., introduces, MacFi - Eight Message Digital Audio Record/Play System.

Designed with flexibility in mind, MacFi, offers the features needed for most any audio announcement application. Eight independent, randomly accessible messages are available through both local and remote control. Messages may be recorded directly to MacFi, expediting the update process in environments where messages change frequently. MacFi also incorporates the latest Dynamic Message Length (DML) technology for increased memory efficiency. DML manages memory allocation so that initial and replacement messages may be of different duration. MacFi is offered in either 8 minute or 16 minute versions.

MacFi's multiple operational modes such as Standard, Play Once, Play While Active, Re-Trigger and Play Next are tailored to the most common public address, announcement, amusement, exhibit/display and transportation applications.

The MacFi system is offered in either table top or rack mountable steel enclosures which contain no moving parts for exceptional reliability. The system incorporates FLASH EEPROM memory which protects messages during power outages without battery backup.

Interfacing to the MacFi is easy! Adjustable analog audio inputs are available via line level or microphone. Adjustable analog audio outputs are available via line level or 4 watt amplifier. Local record and playback is simplified through push buttons and LED indicators located on top of the unit. Remote control functions are available on a convenient pluggable euro style connector. RS-232 serial control and synchronized relay output are available with the enhanced version.
