Glendora, CA--August 6, 1998--Mackenzie Laboratories, consolidated its DMR-PD-008 family of digital audio message repeaters, offering unsurpassed value.

The DMR-PD-008R is intended for industrial announcement / information applications where the highest reliability is required. The system is scaleable from 1 to 4 independent channels and accommodates up to sixteen different messages, which are field recordable to non-volatile flash memory. Messages may be routed to either a single channel or to all channels. Multiple channel playback is simultaneous allowing all channels to be playing at the same time. The DMR-PD-008 incorporates on board supervision via self test circuitry and power failure alarms as well as intelligent scripting capability.

"The PD-008 has been a solid product for Mackenzie," says VP of Marketing, Robert Bird "but the amount of options available made it difficult for contractors to specify." This led to consolidating the product into the most common configurations and adjusting price. The new DMR-PD-008 now incorporates field recording capability as a standard feature and better sound quality. Unit list prices range from $1,299 - $1,829 representing up to a 15% savings. Memory cost has also been dramatically reduced by up to 85%.
